Putnam Arts Council Holding Summer Programs

MAHOPAC, N.Y. – The Putnam Arts Council announced their schedule of summer programs, all planned to take place at the Belle Levine Art Center in Mahopac.

There will be a LOOK artists pop-up show from Saturday, June 13, to Sunday, June 21, with opening and closing receptions set for June 13 and 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. both days. The gallery will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16 to Friday, June 19, and 12 to 5 p.m. on the weekends of the June 13 and 20.

The Arts Council will also hold a multi-ARTS education program for children during July and August, where ages six through 12 can create their own projects around planned themes like Africa & Asia, Creatures Large & Small, Art around the World, Animals and Environments and Wizards, Dragons & Castles.

There will also be adult programs starting on July 18, and a teen program planned to begin the week of July 6.
